Home-made Jam

We had an exciting day in Saplings making lovely Forest Fruit jam. First, we had to crush the fruits in a saucepan. Then we added sugar and boiled the mix until it was hot enough. Finally we scooped the jam into jars and left them to cool.

Once the jam had cooled, we had a taste testing session - it was scrumptious! The Saplings then made labels for the jars.
